GMTK jam 2023 submission. First time publishing something with Godot and figuring stuff out took up a lot of time, so I couldn't really refine it at all...! Sorry it's still pretty jank and like, both easy and hard to play.

It's up in the air whether I do anything else with this... but if I do, I do already have the framework for a lot more content?

i doubt anyone will be clamoring for it but i dunno maybe it's cute/interesting

(also yeah I know it looks more like Punch-Out but I'm not a 3D modeller so Tekken was out of my depth)

Controls are onscreen, but: player1 uses A/S, player2 uses I/O, R resets the game.

EDIT: Turns out Godot has somewhat low compatibility on web, and i went and made my game require a relatively large viewport of 1600x900. I can't upload a windows build right now because that's disallowed during judging, sorry...! All I can tell you is I already ticked "SharedArrayBuffer support" and this page works on every desktop browser I tried, so I don't know what's up.

EDIT2: Someone I talked to told me that it worked when they viewed the frame on its own, by either right clicking the failure notice and picking "This Frame" > "Show Only This Frame" or going directly here https://html.itch.zone/html/8276909/game/index.html . I can only take their word for it; you can also grab the .pck file directly off the online assets and run it with your own copy of godot 4.1 but I promise you this game is not worth that much

Hey, have you tried with the SharedArrayBuffer option  in itch.io ?

It worked for us. You just have to go to your game page -> edit, then scroll to Frame options and activate SharedArrayBuffer support.

That's what I did! I can see it ticked right now. And it works on my browser, so... not sure what else to say.

Doesnt load for me :F

Does not seem to load properly for me. It would be best to re-upload a Windows build

I'm really sorry! Godot apparently has low compatibility on web. I was going to upload a windows build later, but I didn't realize i wouldn't be able to do so while judging is underway. Thanks for trying...!
